Chandeliers are a ceiling mounted light fixture with multiple arms branching outward holding candles of bulbs at their end. It used to be candles. Nowadays, it’s bulbs. An array of glass or crystal pieces are used to refract the light, creating an elegant effect of bright light across even the largest rooms. Chandeliers are perhaps the classiest way to light big areas in the home, offices, wedding halls, churches and synagogues. Chandeliers come in all sizes. From dozens of ornate branches interspersed with delicate crystal to a simpler set of bulbs in paper shades. The style of the chandelier you choose should suit the rest of your decor.
Another, more delicate, design choice is the color of the chandelier. Black chandeliers have a decidedly dramatic yet sophisticated look. Brass and gold frames are warmer. A lighter colored frame compounds the bulbs’ brightness. Pink chandelier shades and beads are very soft and feminine. Consider color a large aspect of your chandelier search.
