How durable is a solid gold rope chain?
I am really interested in a rope chain and wondering how durable they are to normal wear. I usually sleep in my necklaces and was wondering if it will mess with the chain also.
You will probably be happy to discover that solid gold rope chains are very durable.
Gold is a soft metal (relatively!) so you may find that a lower carat gold is more durable. However, most people like to go for the highest carat they can afford.
You should not worry about your necklaces damaging your chain. However, it is possible to damage gold chain it you catch them on your clothes.
